Hear hear to ditching full blown GTD. It's procrastination and leads to cherry-picking the smaller and easier tasks. I re-read the book this autumn, to see if I was just missing the point somehow. But instead it confirmed I should give up on trying to follow it too closely. Just keeping the principles with me: process things once; never put anything back into 'in'; define next actions.

Thanks for highlighting my comment on Dave's post.
